Prince Damrong's 1930 visit to Preah Vihear becomes evidence in the temple dispute

In 1930, Siamese Prince Damrong Rajanubhab visited the Preah Vihear temple as the guest of French colonial officials and was received with Cambodian honours. In its 1962 judgment, the International Court of Justice cited the visit as an occasion on which Siam did not object to the temple's depiction as lying inside French Indochina.
